We have formed an alliance of several local contract research laboratories, all founded by former Amgen colleagues, to provide our clients with a more complete, turn-key solution when that is desirable. This California Biotechnology Research Consortium helps to integrate the capabilities of several companies. Clients can access all our services through one contact and/or one contract to simplify paperwork and speed up development.

Consortium members

The newest member of our consortium is HTL Biosolutions founded by Tiansheng Li, which offers FTIR spectroscopy, formulation development, HPLC, AAA analysis, and consulting services.

Amethyst Life Sciences was founded by Greg Cauchon. Its Analytical Ventura division offers analytical services including HPLC method development, FFF and SEC-MALLS, and molecular biology services. Its Designed Polymers division (no web site yet) develops polymers for protein modification.

WindRose Analytica (a division of Althea) provides phase 1/2 cGMP lot release testing, phase 1/2 cGMP stability programs, analytical method development and validation, primary structure determination and impurity identification by LC/MS, glycoprotein analysis, particle analysis, consulting, and more.

For mammalian expression and cell line development we work with Amprotein,  a company with unique technology for rapid, high-yield mammalian expression. The resulting conditioned media can then purified be purified by A.P.L., if desired.

Integrity Biosolution provides complete development of liquid or lyophilized protein formulations, including delivery devices and technologies, as well as clinical-scale GMP fill-finish services.

iGORi Inc. can assist you with analytical method development and analysis of proteins, polymers, and small molecules. iGORi also has considerable expertise in formulation and stability issues for traditional pharmaceuticals.
